noon passama

At the core of Noon Passama’s practice is continual reworking of jewellery archetypes, such as the chain and linking elements which are foundational to the
discipline. With each element sculpted and connected, the shapes are informed
by time and serenity. The process begins with exploring the potential of the
material, where intuitive actions shape and refine the pieces. The result is a collection of distinctive jewellery pieces and fine objects that are hand-crafted, assembled, and finished, made in a small batch, intended to last for generations.

The designer is currently based between Eindhoven, the Netherlands and Bangkok, Thailand.

Product care

noon passama pieces are handcrafted. Handling with care, occasional cleaning and proper storing help keeping them in good condition.

For high-quality finishing and tarnish protection, the sterling silver items are double-layered plated with palladium and rhodium respectively. Any plating will naturally wear off over time and by using. The jewellery can be re-plated by your local jeweller or a professional plating service.

Do not use chemical polishing cloth to clean plated silver items. Instead, use the microfibre jewellery polishing cloth provided with every purchase.

Avoid wearing jewellery while swimming or playing sport. Take care not to rub or knock your jewellery against rough or hard surfaces. Avoid wearing rings or bracelets while doing manual work. Put jewellery on after applying perfume and hair products.

Store each item in a separate box or pouch. Prevent pieces from moving around in their containers during transit. For a chain item, it is recommended to prevent the piece from moving around by laying it straight, then wrap it with a soft cloth (like a handkerchief or a small scarf) and coil it up.
